| Community Empowerment Forum is held two times a year to inform the community residents of the status of projects, and to receive input from residents and other community stakeholders. |
| Manna Community Technology Center provides computer training for all ages and all skill levels year round. Classes are very small with students receiving personal attention. Internet and other technology services are available. These services are free to our target area residents. A small fee is charged to others. |
Bartlett Crossing Revitalization Project is a community development project focusing on developing single family housing, a senior citizen complex, and commercial complex to house, Manna Ministries, Inc. corporate office, Manna Community Technology Center, school for grades P-K to grade 3, and other small businesses.
Manna Community Clean Up Day Project Spring and fall clean up days are opportunities for neighbors to get together for a healthier, safer, neighborhood pride and beautification, to get acquainted with neighbors to build the connectivity of neighbors currently in the neighborhood and the future neighbors.
Manna Community Garden Project
Participants of all ages will benefit from the opportunities for social well-being improvement: (1) strengthening social connections (2) skill building, opportunities for physical and mental improvement: (1) physical activity, (2) fresh fruits and vegetables for healthy diets, and opportunities for: (1) beatification of residential, bossiness, recreation, and (2) maintaining and creating green space for a healthier environment.
Manna Community Housing Project
The Manna Community Housing Project is servers as a Community Housing Development Organization (CHDO) for the City of Macon Georgia providing decent, affordable and sanitized housing for low to moderate low-income families. These single-family dwelling houses are for home ownership. Under the Point of Jurisdiction of the City of Macon Economic and Community Development Department and in partnership with the Macon Land Bank Authority, Lizzie Chapel Baptist Church and other stake holders in the community. In order to qualify for these houses prospective buyers must meet the criteria of the HUD income scale. Assistant such as home buying training, budgeting, and down payments may be available for those who qualify.
